Constitution

Sect. 1 The name of the association shall be; NORTH EAST OHIO DAIRY GOAT ASSOCIATION. (NEODGA)

Sect. 2 The objectives and purposes of the association shall be:
a) to advance the cause of the dairy goat.
b) to promote and encourage the improvement of dairy goats thru selective breeding.
c) to educate the public about the benefits and value of dairy goats, and caprine products.
d) to seek out professionals knowledgeable in the areas of caprine studies, for the purpose of educating the club members and other interested parties.
e) to facilitate the exchange of useful, and helpful ideas among capriculturalists.
f) to foster and promote the exhibition of dairy goats at fairs and other shows.
g) to promote closer fellowship among goat owners and enthusiasts and other related associations.
h) to provide in general for the mutual protection, benefit, and welfare of this association.

Sect. 3 The association shall not be conducted of operated for profit. Any remainder of residue from dues or donations to the association shall be used to promote the dairy goat, caprine related products, and functions and for the purchased of educational and general use products for the benefit of the association.

Sect. 4 The members of the association shall adopt, and from time to time revise, such bylaws as may be necessary to carry out these objectives and purpose.
