NORTHEAST OHIO DAIRY GOAT ASSOCIATION
MARCH 11, 2007
MINUTES

Deb Rudolph called the meeting to order.  

ADM Nutritution gave a program on goat nutritution with handouts and the door prize was won by one of the Mackey girls.

Treasurer’s report was given by Bill Davenport showing a balance of $2903.06.  Pat Cornell made a motion to accept Treasurer’s report. Seconded by Ruth Wuensch.  Motion carried.

Ruth Wuensch gave a report on the Show Flyer Ads and reported $10 for Business card size, $20 for half page and $35 for full page ads.

Lauren Bigler gave a report about the new Youth Events for our show.  Sounds exciting.

Thank you for the Basket for the OVC Conference was read.

Kathy Bigler gave a report on the  idea for a fund raiser.  After some discussion, Pat Cornell made the motion to table this idea until the April meeting so Kathy can get more info about sizes and prices etc.  Seconded by Julie Mackey.  Motion carried.

New goat club has formed in Ohio and is called Mid-Ohio Dairy Goat Association as reported by Deb R from the ODGA Directors meeting.

Since our next meeting will fall on Easter, Ruth Wuensch made the motion to have our next meeting on April 15, 2007.  Seconded by Pat Cornell.  Motion carried.

Two representatives for ODGA fall conference is needed. Pat Cornell, Bill Davenport, Deb Rudolph and Sue Davenport will  be our representatives.

Bill Davenport made a motion to adjourn and seconded by Ruth Wuensch.  Motion carried.   All enjoyed our pot luck.
